Our client is fastest growing logistics company based in Bury St Edmunds are currently recruiting for a Returns operative to join their expanding team on a full time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in which you can learn and develop. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

      Unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that all products are booked using the appropriate system, and any discrepancies are raised as per service agreements.

Advising the Service Centre Supervisor of any products that have been booked in requiring further attention by a senior person.

To maintain a clean working area including IT equipment, to ensure a high level of Health and Safety is present.

To provide details on progress of repairs when requested by Customer Care.

To process Return to Stock in accordance with the correct process.

To process bulk returns in accordance with the appropriate

To book in spares upon arrival into the appropriate

To complete reworks as required.

To liaise with Customer Care and external customer contacts to identify and resolve queries regarding products the administrator is unable to book in.

Support the Service Centre Supervisor and other members of the management team as required.

Work at a timely pace to ensure that sufficient repairs are available for the engineering workshop.

Complete manual warehouse orientated tasks, including lifting potentially heavy items, in line with the department's needs. 

Learn other roles within the department and provide cover when required in line with current experience.

Work towards a FLT license, preferably Counterbalance, in line with the department's needs.

Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required.

Maintain customer delivery spreadsheets.
