Transport Fulfilment Agent - (Tuesday-Saturday)

Competitive Pay: 25,000 per annum - enhanced rates paid after 37.5 hours. Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

There will also be a on call phone system operating 7 days a week once in every three. This will pay an additional 10 per day Monday-Friday, and 35 per day Saturday and Sunday

Shifts: Tuesday - Saturday 10.00am - 6.00pm (Initial training Monday - Friday)

(May be required to travel to another depot for training, fuel costs can be reimbursed)

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive safety culture within the team and increase Safety accountability
  • Support site management in achieving compliance obligations including Inventory, financial, health and safety and Transport.
  • Liaise with Workshops and Customer Service teams to ensure the effective routing of all vehicles at their disposal.
  • Deal effectively with customer complaints relating to transport activities.
  • Ensure all loads are reconciled in a timely manner.
  • Ensure driver feedback is reported and Master data is updated.
  • Create a mindset within the team that "service matters"
  • Deliver excellent customer service in all areas of the cylinder and bulk business.

Requirements:

  • Ideally experience working within a transportation business.
  • Knowledge of Driving hours rules and regulations.
  • Geographical knowledge is beneficial however not essential
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Hands on attitude and the willingness to lead by example and develop and encourage team spirit.
  • Computer literate with experience using MS Office.
  • Well organised.
  • Clear communicator - good written communication.
  • Strong Safety focus.
