Job Title: Marketing Manager
Role Overview: As the Marketing Manager, you will lead and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across our Group which includes four brands, each with their own distinct growth objectives. This standalone role is essential to helping the business achieve its ambitions and offers a unique opportunity to shape the marketing function as the company grows. Taking a hands-on approach to developing marketing initiatives, creating content, managing campaigns, and collaborating with colleagues and agencies, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. Success will require experience, flexibility, initiative, innovation and a logical approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute marketing plans tailored to each brand’s objectives while ensuring overall brand development and harmonisation across the group.
- Create multi-channel campaigns across the full promotional mix, incorporating email marketing, SEO, social media, website management and events.
2. Campaign Management
- Plan and implement lead-generating campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance using data-driven insights.
3. Content Creation and Storytelling
- Write, edit and oversee the creation of compelling content, including blogs, news articles, thought leadership, press releases, award submissions, video, presentations and case studies etc.
- Design supporting promotional literature and digital assets.
4. Events and Merchandise
- Plan and manage external events, including trade shows and client-focused initiatives.
- Create supporting promotional merchandise for events and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
5. Client and Candidate Experience
- Develop marketing strategies that enhance client relationships and candidate journey.
- Create content and campaigns that reflect the company’s commitment to exceptional service and engagement.
6. Supplier and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, including agencies and printers, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing activities with business and individual objectives.
7. Business Development Support
- Lead the bid process for tender opportunities, managing submissions from start to finish.
- Maintain and update the bid library to ensure high-quality and relevant content.
8. Internal Communications and Employee Engagement
- Manage an internal communications and events calendar to support employee engagement.
- Organise events and initiatives that promote the company’s culture and values, helping to enhance employee engagement and connection, including: a regular employee newsletter, bi-annual town halls, incentive campaigns social gatherings etc.
9. Metrics and Reporting
- Track, analyse and report on marketing performance metrics.
- Provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns and initiatives.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven experience in a similar marketing role, ideally with experience in a B2B environment.
- Experience in the recruitment, engineering or technology sectors would be an advantage.
- Strong storytelling, writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Canva, social media and scheduling tools such as Loomly.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- A results-driven mindset.
- Collaborative approach, with a proven ability to work effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
