About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team. This role is pivotal in managing a range of projects for our esteemed clients in the nuclear sector.
As a Project Manager, you will be part of a large, client-led team, primarily based at a power station with occasional travel to other sites. Youll have the chance to develop your skills in an operational environment focused on safe and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multi-discipline projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
Collaborate with the client’s Project Portfolio Manager to set project execution strategies.
Lead a cross-functional integrated project team.
Oversee budgets, scope, change control, and risk management for all assigned projects.
Monitor schedule progress and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
Prepare and present monthly progress reports for governance review.
Drive project delivery to ensure safe, timely completion that meets quality standards.
Be accountable to the client Project Portfolio Manager for successful project outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
A degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
APM PMQ or equivalent, with proficiency in project management tools.
Proven experience managing complex, multi-discipline projects throughout their lifecycle.
Solid understanding of engineering project management, including design, procurement, and construction management.
Experience in estimating, cost control, planning, and commercial awareness.
Strong communication, organisational, and team-building skills.
Familiarity with construction projects under CDM regulations.
Ideally, experience in managing electrical power systems design and installation projects.
A background in power stations or highly regulated environments is preferred but not essential.
