Job Purpose:
The Senior Planner (PMO Scheduling Specialist) is responsible for independently managing and applying schedule management techniques in complex scenarios across P3M (Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management). This includes preparing and maintaining integrated schedules, accounting for dependencies and resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project structures (WBS/OBS/RBS/CBS) and the integrated project schedule (Levels 1-3).
  • Ensure alignment between scheduling tools and financial/material demand systems, including Level 4/5 schedules.
  • Regularly update the integrated schedule and provide metrics and schedule analysis.
  • Create resource/cost-loaded schedules to inform financial status.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis, critical path analysis, and provide status updates on key milestones.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead Interactive Planning workshops and Rolling Wave (lookahead) meetings.
  • Ensure cost-loaded schedules align with baseline budgets.
  • Update schedules with forecast dates and Estimates at Completion.
  • Support the commercial change process and impact assessments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive recent experience in a similar environment/business sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling tools like Primavera/MSP.
  • Experience in quantitative risk analysis and forensic planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project, or construction management, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., APM, AcostE, RICS) or equivalent.

  • Expertise in schedule management and resource management.
  • Proficiency in independent assurance and stakeholder communication.
  • Competence in budgeting, cost control, and contract management.

Leadership and Accountability:
