Key responsibilities include safely moving HGVs, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and liaising with warehouse managers.

We are on the lookout for a proficient HGV C+E Driver to join our team as a Night Shunter. This role entails the secure and efficient manoeuvring and placement of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) within a specified area.Job Title: HGV C+E Night ShunterSalary: £47,500 paLocation: Robertsbridge (East Sussex)Shift: Nights 17:00 to 05:00This is an ongoing temporary position, with the option of Temp to Perm for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:

Safely move and position HGVs within the site.
Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
Complete safety assessments and inspections of vehicles.
Couple and uncouple trailers as required.
Liaise with warehouse and transport managers to ensure smooth operations.
Efficiently shunt HGVs to facilitate loading, unloading, and parking operations.

Requirements:

HGV C+E licence with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
No more than six points on your licence for minor endorsements.
Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards.
