Due to continued growth, our client, a well established practice is looking for a qualified / part qualified or QBE Accountant to join the team. They are committed to providing tailored, high-quality accounting and financial services to individuals and businesses of all sizes. They offer a full range of services, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial planning, payroll management, and strategic business advisory.

Main responsibilities will be:
  • Preparation and submission of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns to HMRC.
  • Assisting with client audits.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly management accounts to ensure financial information is up-to-date
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC.
  • Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries.
Requirements
  • ICAEW or ACCA qualified or QBE
  • At least 1 year experience working in UK accountancy practice.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using IRIS Accounts Production, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; able to meet deadlines on a daily basis while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity throughout the year.
  • Full Driving Licence advantageous.
