Sewell Wallis are working exclusively with a Logistics business on the outskirts of Rochdale who are currently recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to their Finance team.

You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a strong finance business partnering and management accounts background.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate production of the monthly management accounts.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Business partnering key stakeholders across the wider teams.
  • Supporting commercial and strategic planning with detailed financial analysis.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Developing models for acquisition opportunities.
  • Analysing revenue streams and business costs.
  • Ensuring project budgets are accurate.
  • Managing a small team.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Qualified / Newly qualified Accountant with experience of working in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
