Inspection Engineer

Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inspection Engineer to join a dynamic quality team.The role involves conducting in-process inspections of manufactured components within a machine shop, using advanced measurement tools. You will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring conformity with engineering definitions, and supporting the overall quality assurance process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect components within the machine shop to ensure they meet engineering definitions.
  • Address and resolve any issues proactively as they arise.
  • Raise Material Disposition Reports (MDRs) when required.
  • Support non-conformance investigations and quality department activities.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures while maintaining exemplary housekeeping standards.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Engineering Apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work to a high level of quality
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Competent using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP (Training available on-the-job)
