Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inspection Engineer to join a dynamic quality team.The role involves conducting in-process inspections of manufactured components within a machine shop, using advanced measurement tools. You will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring conformity with engineering definitions, and supporting the overall quality assurance process.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect components within the machine shop to ensure they meet engineering definitions.
- Address and resolve any issues proactively as they arise.
- Raise Material Disposition Reports (MDRs) when required.
- Support non-conformance investigations and quality department activities.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures while maintaining exemplary housekeeping standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Engineering Apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
- Aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work to a high level of quality
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- SAP (Training available on-the-job)
