Job Purpose: 

 

To make sure products meet customer requirements and specifications. Also, to minimise the costs of reworking or waste while ensuring customer satisfaction with the products.

 

 

  1. Overall, Job Purpose:

 

    1. Main Objectives/Responsibilities

 

  • Ensures that operatives and inspectors are working to workmanship standards.
  • Ensures that suppliers conform to specification requirements.
  • Ensures that management systems are adhered to through audit procedures.
  • Maintains customer communications and resolution to any quality issues raised.
  • Monitors process controls all departments.
  • Carries out Internal Auditing.
  • Conducts in-house analysis.
  • Solves problems regarding quality issues using technical resources with  and suppliers.
  • Communicates with customers and suppliers.
  • Identifies and verifies standards with the customer and suppliers alike.

 

 

 

  1. Required qualifications:

 

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree (i.e., Engineering, Engineering Technology) or substantial experience.
  • At least five years of work experience in a manufacturing organisation, preferably plastics manufacturer.
  • Demonstrable experience within a managerial / leadership role and leading a team.
  • Proficient IT skills.
