Are you a Design Manager from a Mechanical Manufacturing background? On offer is a pivotal role where you will be directly adding value on cutting edge projects within a market-leading company who pride themselves on progression from within.

This market-leading company manufacture and provide a range of specialist, industrial equipment to a broad client base across numerous sectors, including Hospitals, Energy and Oil and Gas. Due to an ever increasing workload they are looking for an individual to head up their friendly design team.

In this autonomous role you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5 Engineers as you undertake leadership responsibilities such as documentation, design reviews and technical reporting. Further to this you will also undertake hands on design work on Solidworks and project support as you liaise with production, clients, and other members of the senior leadership team.

This specialist role would suit a Mechanical Design Manager or similar looking to head up a tight-knit team within a market-leading company who provide the chance to be the go-to specialist on cutting edge projects and to further your career.

The Role:
* Manage the design process from start to finish to ensure products manufactured effectively
* Oversee team of 5 engineers
* Produce technical reports, documentation and carry out hands on design work
* Liaise with production team, senior leadership and clients

The Person:
* Design Manager or similar
* Mechanical Manufacturing background
* Proficient in Solidworks
