Description

  • Provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure project feasibility.
  • Contribute to bid preparation and tender documentation.
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
  • Prepare and present reports detailing estimated costs and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on estimation progress.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • Prior experience in estimation within the civils or any type of asset going into the ground.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK construction market and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in using estimation software (MS Projects) and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
