Internal Sales

Temporary to Permanent Position

We are currently seeking a highly efficient and motivated Internal Sales Person to join our dynamic team at a large distribution company in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to grow with a thriving company that values a close-knit, family-like culture.

This is initially a temporary position, with the potential for a permanent contract, subject to a qualifying period, for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek new business opportunities through various channels and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline to maximise potential opportunities.
  • Schedule appointments for the Managing Director with prospective clients.
  • Handle any queries related to HM Customs.
  • Enter collections and deliveries into our in-house systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via email and phone.
  • Provide support to the Office Manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in sales or business development.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Confident and articulate in communication over the phone.
  • Strong administrative abilities.
