Job Description:We are currently seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks in the construction industry. This is a temporary position with full-time hours.
Job Duties:- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications
- Install wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
- Repair and maintain wooden fixtures and structures
- Collaborate with other construction workers and contractors
- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter
- Proficient in using a variety of carpentry tools
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision
Relevant qualification in Carpentry or Joinery
Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:- Excellent knowledge of wood properties and materials
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Health and Safety certification
- Experience working in the construction industry
This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The Joiner may need to lift heavy objects and work at heights using appropriate safety equipment.
