Our client are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.

This role requires a balance of office-based planning and on-site management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and control construction projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
  • Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to milestones and quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project progress, identify issues, and implement timely resolutions.
  • Ensure all on-site activities meet health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate quality control processes, benchmarks, and standards, engaging all stakeholders to maintain project excellence.
  • Ensure all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, are accurate and updated.
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities to align with business objectives.
  • Produce monthly project reports for clients, detailing progress and performance metrics.
  • Develop internal Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and review subcontractor submissions.
  • Work closely with the QS to manage project functions and provide essential information.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies, while achieving sustainability targets.
  • Handle any additional tasks as reasonably requested by company management.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in managing construction projects, from planning to completion.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
  • Proficient understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for client and team liaison.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between office and site.

Desirable:

  • Experience with sustainability initiatives in construction projects.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software for project management.
  • Experience in quality assurance and control processes.
