Description
- Provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure project feasibility.
- Contribute to bid preparation and tender documentation.
- Monitor industry trends to ensure competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
- Prepare and present reports detailing estimated costs and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on estimation progress.
Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- A degree in a relevant field such as Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Prior experience in estimation within the civils or any type of asset going into the ground.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of the UK construction market and construction processes.
- Proficiency in using estimation software (MS Projects) and tools.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £85,000 annually.
