We are recruiting on behalf of a professional Health & Safety outfit, with a strong presence in the North West of England. Our client is seeking an experienced Fire Door Inspector, with a proven track record of working within the industry. Ideally the applicant will have good access to the M61 and / or M62 for easy travel to client sites. The company can also offer comprehensive training schemes into further Health & Safety disciplines. They are paying competitively on salaries as well as offering attractive benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have proven experience conducting Fire Door Inspections across a range of client sites
- Ideally will hold industry-relevant qualifications, such as: Level 3 in Fire Door Inspections FDIS
- It would be beneficial to hold Health & Safety qualifications, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, but this is not essential
- Strong knowledge of industry standards
- Good written ability
- IT proficient
- Flexible to travel as per client requirements
The Role:
- Undertaking thorough fire door and compartmentation inspections and surveys
- Servicing a mix of domestic, commercial, education and manufacturing client sites
- Interpreting drawings and fire risk assessment reports
- Writing bespoke reports, outlining any found non-conformities and required remedial actions
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss requirements and undertake bulk inspections
- Ensuring to work to deadlines and agreed budgets
- Discussing findings directly with clients and answering any technical queries
