My client is a car finance lender offering Hire Purchase and Personal Contract Purchase car finance, they are looking for a Commercial Director to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and optimise sales performance.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage budgets and financial performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide regular reports on sales and marketing performance to the executive team.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role, demonstrating a successful track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and analysing financial performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex challenges and make informed choices.
