• £16.76 base rate with shift uplift of 20% on 6am-2pm (£20.11), 30% on 2pm-10pm (£21.78), and 40% on 10pm - 6am (£23.46)

The job:

Responsible for manufacturing components on the production schedule to the drawing specifications within set timescales.  Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn, acquire relevant machining experience and work from technical drawings.  Ensuring production priorities and timescales are achieved to ensure customers’ deadlines are met. Solve problems as they arise.  Manufacturing components to support machine build at the Rochdale sites.       

Skills /experience

• CNC Machining – Horizontal Borers / Machining Centres
• Ability to CNC program, identify and solve problems - Heidenhain
• Must be able to work to a high level of quality
• Must have good attendance record and excellent time-keeping
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Able to work in safe manner in line with the company’s Health & Safety policies       
• Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Skilled Status, timed served)

Rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
