Introduction
Due to an ever-increasing orderbook, We are seeking experienced CNC Millers to join a well-established engineering company based in Rochdale, to expand capacity at their site. With over a century of heritage, this organisation is a leading supplier to the global rubber processing industry. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility, the company invests heavily in cutting-edge equipment and fosters a culture of excellence.

This is a fantastic role, as it provides the opportunity for a permanent position at their award-winning Engineering facility where they spend more than 2m every year in capital investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Fanuc/Heidenhain CNC milling machines to produce low-volume, precision components.
  • Prepare tooling and fixtures, prove out programs, and execute production runs.
  • Ensure production aligns with planned schedules, adhering to health and safety and quality standards.
  • Inspect own and colleagues' work using precision measuring equipment.
  • Provide training and support to team members when required.

Salary

  • Training rate - 16.76 per hour. 6am - 2pm 20.11ph, 2pm -10pm 21.78, 10pm-6am 23.46
  • Average hourly rate with shifts: 21.79/hour (average shift included -pay award pending).
  • OTE: 50,000
  • Uncapped overtime available.
