CNC Turner: Programmer, Setter, Operator
Hours:
- Day shift of 39 hours per week flexible within Company opening hours
Salary:
- Starting salary of up to £20.00 per hour
- Overtime paid at time and a half up to 48 hours and double time thereafter

The Role
Programming, setting and operating of Fanuc CNC Turning Machines to produce low volume precision parts
Setting up tooling and fixturing, prove out and execute part programs
Follow planned operations to completion at prescribed production rates to meet customer delivery schedule in accordance with Company H&S and Quality Policies
Maximize production while maintaining effective and efficient use of materials and tooling
Carry out in-process inspection to drawing specifications
Present jobs to a high standard

In order to be successful in this position as a skilled CNCTurner, you will have the following skills and experience;
Experienced in writing and editing programs and able to read and interpret engineering drawings to a high standard
Competent in setting and operating CNC machines using Fanuc CNC controls
Able to perform initial inspections of your own/a team members work using a variety of measuring equipment e.g. micrometers
Sound understanding of materials, modern cutting methods and engineering processes
Produce high quality and accurate output with minimal error rate
Flexible approach to working and willing to work overtime as required to fulfil customer delivery schedules
