- Deliver exceptional service to customers
- Ensure company aged debt is managed within established procedures
- Process customer credit notes efficiently
- Maintain and update the sales ledger
- Monitor credit exposure to reduce the risk of bad debt
- Implement credit control policies and procedures to minimise credit risk effectively
- Open new customer accounts
- Handle cash posting and perform bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with colleagues and external parties when required
- Assist customers with disputes or invoice-related inquiries
- Process payments over the phone
- Oversee and release customer orders as necessary
- Consistently support the company’s goals and strategic objective
- Credit control / sales ledger experience
- Flexible, ability to work to deadlines, particularly month end cut off.
- Confident
- Good telephone skills
- Using own initiative, working independently and as part of a small team
- IT Skills with knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
