Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Science Technician to work at a local secondary academy in the Rochdale area.
The role is due to begin on Monday 28th April and will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the summer and potentially longer.
The academy is looking for an experienced science technician who can hit the ground running and provide ongoing support to the science faculty.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a science technician
- Previous school based experience
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to set-up and carry out practical experiments
- Provide ongoing support to the science department
- Stock control
- Familiar with all health & safety protocols
- Available from 28/04/2025
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
