Installation Electrician

Our client is a successful UK engineering company who manufacture custom control panels and provide a wide range of engineering services to manufacturing, recycling, industrial and logistics companies.

There is now a new requirement for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join the team.

The Role:

As Industrial Installation Electrician, you will work on some fantastic projects.

Key tasks will include:

  • Install cable containment, run/clip cables
  • Mount mechanical equipment (e.g., isolators, junction boxes)
  • Gland and terminate cables as per schematics
  • Earth equipment in accordance with BS7671 standards
  • Test electrical installations for function and safety
  • Complete and submit required documentation professionally
  • Assist with Panel Division as needed
  • Manage company tools and materials responsibly
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Flexibility to work away from home when required
  • Maintain and care for any assigned company vehicle

Requirements:

  • Min NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with industrial electrical installations
  • Solid knowledge of national working rules, IEE regulations, and safety protocols
  • Health and Safety Training (CSCS or ECS) and IPAF certification
  • You must be reliable, take initiative, and enjoy being part of a supportive team
  • UK driving licence with flexibility to travel
