Our client is a successful UK engineering company who manufacture custom control panels and provide a wide range of engineering services to manufacturing, recycling, industrial and logistics companies.

There is now a new requirement for a skilled Industrial Installation Electrician to join the team.

The Role:

As Industrial Installation Electrician, you will work on some interesting projects.

Key tasks will include:

  • Re-wiring in factories, recycling centres and heavy industrial environments
  • Install conveyors and control systems
  • Install cable containment
  • Gland and terminate cables as per schematics
  • Test electrical installations for function and safety
  • Manage company tools and materials responsibly
  • Maintain and care for any assigned company vehicle

Requirements:

  • Min NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with industrial electrical installations
  • Able to read schematic, cable schedules and engineering drawings
  • Solid knowledge of national working rules, IEE regulations, and safety protocols
  • Health and Safety Training (CSCS or ECS) and IPAF certification
  • You must be reliable, take initiative and enjoy being part of a supportive team
  • UK driving licence with flexibility to travel
