Our client is a successful UK engineering company who manufacture custom control panels and provide a wide range of engineering services to manufacturing, recycling, industrial and logistics companies.
There is now a new requirement for a skilled Industrial Installation Electrician to join the team.
The Role:
As Industrial Installation Electrician, you will work on some interesting projects.
Key tasks will include:
- Re-wiring in factories, recycling centres and heavy industrial environments
- Install conveyors and control systems
- Install cable containment
- Gland and terminate cables as per schematics
- Test electrical installations for function and safety
- Manage company tools and materials responsibly
- Maintain and care for any assigned company vehicle
Requirements:
- Min NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with industrial electrical installations
- Able to read schematic, cable schedules and engineering drawings
- Solid knowledge of national working rules, IEE regulations, and safety protocols
- Health and Safety Training (CSCS or ECS) and IPAF certification
- You must be reliable, take initiative and enjoy being part of a supportive team
- UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel and stay away occasionally (UK and abroad)
