Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced Freight Operator specializing in Multimodal freight, primarily focusing on Sea and Road exports.
The position is based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, and involves managing end-to-end shipments for regular customers.
Candidates should have significant experience in freight forwarding, particularly in Exports, with a salary range of £28k to £33k depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include handling worldwide ocean export processes, understanding road export customs procedures, and managing documentation requirements.
The role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to customer service, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

We are looking for an experienced Freight operator covering Multimodal freight mode (mainly Sea and Road) experienced within Exports This role is working for a well established company with a longstanding team located in Rochdale, Greater ManchesterIn this role, you'll be responsible for managing end to end shipments for regular customers. The company exports to various locations so we will consider candidates with any experience within freight forwarding but it is essential you are highly experienced with Exports.Main duties to include:

All aspects of worldwide ocean export processes – LCL and FCL
Knowledge of Road export customs procedures , NCTS5/ T1’s and Safety & security declarations
All basic elements such as booking online with carriers , CDS export clearances and SOLAS requirements
Documentary requirements ( letters of Credit / EUR1/ATR/ Certificate of origin/attested invoices )
AMS/ACI/ISF/filing

We are looking for:

Experience of managing Exports
Experience in a freight forwarder or similar business
Excellent communication skills
Someone who is organised and sees tasks through to completion
Ability to work to deadlines
Good customer service and IT skills
