Paying up to £32,000 + Benefits - Based in Rochdale, our client is a highly successful textile business that are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join their fast-expanding merchandising team.

THE JOB

As Merchandiser you will be working as part of the team to maximise commercial opportunities by driving sales through improved availability and forecasting, reducing mark down and maximising profit.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Forecasting seasonal products and business trends
  • Managing stock through detailed analysis and cashflow forecasts
  • Monitoring retail spending and stock to make necessary adjustments
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding orders and addressing potential delays
  • Collaborating with the design and quality teams on trends and stock analysis
  • Participating in regular meetings to ensure stock levels align with targets.

THE PERSON

  • Experience in a similar merchandising role
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Confidence in decision-making and forecasting
  • Ability to work methodically, meet deadlines, and influence outcomes
  • Strong customer awareness and passion for the product.
