Gas Safe Boiler Breakdown & Maintenance Engineer

Our client pride themselves on providing reliable and professional plumbing and heating services for homeowners and businesses alike. Theyre a family-run business serving Lancashire and Greater Manchester for over 20 years.

They are now urgently looking for a Gas Safe Boiler Breakdown and Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Rochdale.

You must hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role as travel is expected.

Responsibilities:


- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Gas boilers
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive maintenance measures
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Proven experience in supervising maintenance operations
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
- Proficient in welding techniques for equipment repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various machinery
