The School and Role

Are you passionate about supporting young children and helping them thrive in their learning journey? We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a mainstream primary school in Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference by supporting two children with lower language levels and helping them engage and develop through creative, non-verbal techniques.

Requirements

The requested skillset the desired Level 2 Teaching Assistant will require;

  • Support Children, working directly with children who require additional support with their language development.
  • Engage through Non-Verbal Techniques: Using pictures, pointing, actions, and equipment to engage and communicate with the children.
  • Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): Apply your knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to help these children build confidence and skills in their learning journey.
