Our client, a reputable Road Traffic Accident Management Company based in Rochdale, is seeking a motivated and skilled Claims Handler to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established team and contribute to the company's continued success.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing both new and existing claims, ensuring that clients are back in their pre-accident position as quickly and efficiently as possible. This may involve coordinating repairs for damaged vehicles or arranging compensation payments.
Claims Handler Key Responsibilities:
- Taking details of new claims and recording them accurately
- Managing a portfolio of existing claims, prioritising tasks effectively
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients
- Conducting thorough investigations of all cases and reporting any potential fraudulent claims
- Advising relevant parties on potential fraudulent activity and taking appropriate action
- Assessing claims and making decisions on their validity
- Processing all claims efficiently and in line with company standards
Claims Handler Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of the ABI GTA is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with the phonetic alphabet
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience using Pro Claim system is preferred but not essential
- Prior experience as a claims handler
We are looking for a claims handler with a positive and proactive attitude, as well as a strong work ethic. Previous experience in the motor industry would be advantageous, and your CV should demonstrate a consistent and successful work history.
