Rochdale Council are seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects within adult care services. This will involve a key review aimed at enhancing first contact care and stroke prevention and front-line service processes. In this role, you will support the review of technology changes services may require and enable assessment of systems and tools currently in use. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop robust business cases for the Social Care teams, identifying benefits, costs, resources, deliverables, and timescales.
  • Establish and agree on deliverables, plans, resources, and funding prior to project implementation.
  • Manage projects from initial mandate through to development and delivery, ensuring solutions are delivered within the timescales, budget, and quality expected.
  • Implement sufficient controls to ensure that all risks are minimised, mitigation plans are in place, and issues are pro-actively identified and managed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within social care services.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.
  • Experience in technology usage reviews is highly desirable.
