A leading manufacturer based in Rochdale is seeking a Production Clerk to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and recording data for the site, preparing reports on production volume, raw material consumption, and quality control.

Production Clerk Role Summary:The Production Clerk will compile, process, and maintain production data, generate reports, and liaise with various teams to ensure smooth operations. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity with a competitive hourly rate.

Production Clerk Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and record production data, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Source data for production purposes and process it efficiently
  • Maintain documentation and prepare detailed production sheets from customer orders and specifications
  • Generate production reports based on compiled data and liaise with production, sales, and despatch teams
  • Inform HR of absence and holiday requests and input time sheets and route cards
  • Conduct regular stock checks and perform full WIP count to match with inventory data
  • Book out vehicles and manage consignment stock, loose tools, shop floor items, and paint orders
  • Perform any other administrative duties as needed

Production Clerk Experience and Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in administration and stock control
  • Knowledge of Syspro inventory system is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data processing and reporting
