Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background? I am working with a leading manufacturer in the perishable goods sector, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a large facility and thrive in a fast-paced environment due to retirements on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and Mechanical Support: Ideally, candidates will have a 60/40 mechanical to electrical skillset, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
  • High-Pressure Environment: Work efficiently in a high-pressure setting where quick learning and adaptability to fast-moving machinery are essential.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Perform reactive maintenance across multiple production lines to ensure print times and operational targets are consistently met.
  • General Maintenance: Participate in general maintenance activities throughout the facility.
  • CMMS Utilization: Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Equipment Management: Support print presses and packaging lines, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Contractor Collaboration: Work effectively with on-site contractors to facilitate maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Strong electrical bias, with mechanical skills as a complement.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, particularly with perishable goods.
  • Proficiency in maintenance practices and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues swiftly in a multi-line production setting.
