This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Building Services background looking for an autonomous role within a company that offers fantastic remuneration and development opportunities. The Role:
- Attend project meetings on and off-site with clients, contractors and the design team
- Carry out condition surveys, feasibility studies and report writing
- Carry out detailed scheme designs, enabling competitive tenders to be obtained for the works
- Write specifications for the works
- Carry out calculations, both manual and by using computer-based systems
- Provide budget costings and monitor finances of projects throughout all stages and ensure financial success
- Comment upon contractor's work/drawings and attend site progress meetings
