Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will ideally be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician shall carry out pre-planned Service, Commissioning, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of packaging equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out pre-planned Service, commissioning, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of packaging machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance machine performance.
- Produce detailed service reports, documenting work completed, key findings, and recommendations. Reports must be professional, accurate, and customer-ready.
- Liaise with various engineering departments
- Full product training provided
- Will ideally be based in in the Northeast but be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician or similar.
- Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment.
- Full UK driving license.
- Flexible for overtime.
- A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
- Happy to cover North East and be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
