The school and role
An effective well established Two-Form entry primary school in Rochdale is seeking a local Teacher to be part of their KS1 Team. Initially working in Year 2, as an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or established teacher looking to develop their teaching journey in a supportive and inspiring environment. Year 2 consists of 28 -30 children in each class and has lower than average levels of SEN. The class consists of 1 Full Time TA that has been part of the Key Stage 1 team for 4 years and is adaptable and supportive.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status PGCE (QTS), NQTS will be considered.
- Will have recent experience working in Year 2 or who understands the key components of Year 2, Key Stage 1 or primary education.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards learning and development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- A desire to work within a Trust that values continuous improvement and professional growth
- ECT status (or working towards it) with the ambition to grow as an outstanding teacher
