- Conducting detailed occupational therapy assessments for patients in their own homes or community settings.
- Identifying the needs, goals, and preferences of individuals and developing personalized care plans to improve daily living activities (ADLs) and independence.
- Recommending adaptive equipment and modifications to the home or work environment (e.g., grab rails, ramps, specialized furniture) to increase safety and independence.
- Supporting individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury by helping them regain functional abilities and adapt to new limitations.
- Attending multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss care plans and make recommendations for treatment.
