A 'Good' Primary School located in Rochdale are seeking to appoint a part- time PPA teacher to work across key stages 1 and 2, two or three days a week. As a PPA teacher in this school, you will join an experienced and supportive team and work from a detailed plan to deliver lessons across the foundation subjects including maths, English, including Art, Geography, History, PE and R.E. The school is relatively flexible regarding working days and are willing to discuss this after the shortlisting process. The school are ideally looking for someone to work 2 days a week, but would however, considering offering the role on a full-time basis should this be a requirement of the right candidate.
The school are keen to consider both experienced candidates and ECT's, but as highlighted by the Head Teacher, a broad knowledge of the curriculum is essential- as is a positive working attitude and ability to establish strong working relationships.
Although the behaviour at this school is considered to be generally good, it is of paramount importance to the senior leadership team that the employed practitioner is confident and capable of implementing effective behaviour management strategies and capable of working in line with their well supported policies.
