Our manufacturing client in Rochdale is seeking a Handyperson for a temp to perm position with a pay rate of £13.50 to £14.50 per hour.
The role involves performing mechanical repairs, maintaining doors and lights, and general maintenance work across the site.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a maintenance or handyperson background, with maintenance mechanic experience preferred.
Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for this position.

Our manufacturing client in Rochdale is looking to recruit a Handyperson to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Hours of work – Monday to Wednesday 8am – 4.30pm, Thursday – 8am – 5pm and Friday 7am – 3pm.

Rate of pay - £13.50- £14.50 ph.

Handyperson Duties –

Perform mechanical repairs as required.
Maintenance of doors, lights, and some wiring.
Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the site ( Including machinery ).
Assembling fixing kits for the products the company provides.
Removing & refitting of company vehicle doors.
Any other duties as required by the works manager.

Handyperson Role Requirements -

At least 5 years’ experience within a maintenance / handyperson background.
Maintenance mechanic experience is preferable.
Experience as a joiner / electrician is preferable but not essential.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
