We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales/Business Development Executive to join our team at a well-established haulage company based in Rochdale.

This is a permanent position, available after a 12-week probation period, with a salary range of £28,000 to £30,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for sales to help us drive our business forward. You will be responsible for developing new and existing customer relationships, responding to inquiries, providing product information, and preparing quotations for potential clients. Collaborating with the sales team, you will work towards meeting and exceeding sales targets, while also working closely with the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business development with new and existing customers, cultivating relationships

  • Handling correspondence, both internal and external

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
  • Ability to multitask
