Project Manager

Rochdale – Hybrid

Our client is an exceptionally well-established sprinkler company specializing in the installation and maintenance of commercial sprinkler systems. With a strong reputation in the industry, they are known for delivering high-value projects ranging between £1 million and £15 million. As part of their ongoing growth and investment in their team, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic projects team. Role Overview

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing large, high-value sprinkler installation and maintenance projects. You will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role demands a deep understanding of sprinkler designs and schematics, with a strong emphasis on BS EN 12845 codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage the full lifecycle of sprinkler projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all projects comply with BS EN 12845 regulations and industry standards.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential project risks and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager, with a strong background in managing large-scale projects.
  • Sprinkler Expertise: In-depth knowledge of sprinkler systems, designs, and schematics, particularly in line with BS EN 12845 regulations.
  • Engineering Background: Previous experience as a Sprinkler Engineer is advantageous.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Driving License: Full UK driver’s license.
  • Location: Must be based within a commutable distance from Rochdale.
