Project Manager - Highways Lighting
Location: Oldham/Rochdale Depot (Calderdale Contract)
Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential to go permanent

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenge? We're seeking someone with a wealth of experience in project management, ideally in highways or lighting projects. If you have a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects, we want to hear from you. Experience working on a PFI would be a significant advantage.

This role is focused on managing the delivery of Highways Lighting projects within the Calderdale region. You'll be responsible for leading operational teams, including Resource Supervisors and Administrators, ensuring safety, quality, and performance targets are met while maintaining financial control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and deliver Highways Lighting programmes, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
  • Manage project costs, meet performance targets, and optimise resources to drive productivity.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving sales and growth.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering a culture of well-being and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally within highways or lighting projects.
  • Experience with PFI projects would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial and project management processes.
  • ONC or equivalent qualification in engineering or business/management.
