Company has been operating since 1919. The Company has 11 distribution centres located throughout the UK, operating UK & International transport activities. The warehousing portfolio comprises of over 1,500,000 ft2 of storage facilities which specialise within regulated industries (Food, Chemical and Pharmaceutical).An exciting opportunity has arisen to Join our transport planning team in Rochdale.Role to include:

  • 08:30 – 1700 hrs working day
  • Administer and allocate all outbound trunk freight
  • Coordinating vehicle allocation for collections
  • Input all job discrepancies/amendments
  • Liaise with the collection drivers throughout the day and deal with any queries.
  • Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently through systems, emails and phone calls.
  • General administrative and filing support.
  • Telephone and administrative support for Customer Services where required.
  • Support and actively participate in answering incoming calls
