Randstad Education is hiring for a Secondary Computer Science Teacher at a vibrant school in Rochdale. If you have the expertise and enthusiasm to teach students at Key Stages 3 and 4, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Secondary Computer Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons that ignite student's passion for the subject. You will work within a collaborative team, helping students build the technical and problem-solving skills they need for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum.
- Offer tailored feedback to encourage academic growth and development.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being and learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Previous experience teaching Computer Science in UK secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum and ability to inspire students.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Competitive salary between £180 - £230 per day (depending on experience).
