Teaching Assistant - Mainstream

£85 - £95 per day
Age group: KS1
Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30)
Start date: Immediate
Value Education are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary school in the Rochdale area.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.
Teaching Assistant duties:
- Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
- Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children
- Assisting with group activities
- Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis
Teaching Assistant requirements:
- Previous experience working with children
- Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff
- Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently
- Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
- Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)
