Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as an Early Help Support Worker with Rochdale Council

Rochdale Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.

Rochdale Borough Council is looking for a motivated Early Help Support Worker to join our dynamic Early Help and Schools Service (EHASH). If you're passionate about making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children, young people, and their families, then we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Early Help Advisers by researching and managing cases within EHASH.
  • Liaise with families and agencies to ensure effective case action and follow-through.
  • Initiate Early Help Assessments (EHAs) and facilitate support plans.
  • Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to create holistic, outcome-focused support for children and families.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (or willingness to undertake training).
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families in a multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with case management systems like ICS, ONE, and EHM.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and mediation skills.
