£12.70 - £13.80 per hour + £50 per sleep-in (up to 10 per month)

DMD Partners are working in partnership with a forward-thinking residential childrens home provider to recruit a Senior Residential Childcare Worker for their brand-new home based in the Bamford area of Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, youll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where young people can thrive. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the care team to deliver outstanding care.
- Acting as a consistent, caring role model for young people.
- Implementing and maintaining support plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Collaborating with parents, carers, social workers, and other key stakeholders.
- Participating in staff meetings, reviews, and essential team discussions.
- Undertaking risk assessments as needed.
The role requires a compassionate, motivated individual who has proven experience supporting children and young people within a residential home. Completion of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
