We provide the information needed to make positive choices about their futures.As a MEAM Worker, you'll support the delivery of the Rochdale MEAM service for women experiencing multiple disadvantages. You'll provide high-quality, individualised, trauma-informed support, working in partnership with MEAM partners and stakeholders to create positive outcomes.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:* Work in partnership with MEAM partners to support individuals experiencing multiple disadvantages in Rochdale* Provide asset-based interventions to relieve disadvantage and challenge systems when they aren't working for people* Build strong, supportive relationships with beneficiaries and professional relationships with MEAM partners and stakeholders* Capture and report interventions and their impact using the data system* Participate in awareness-raising campaigns and deliver in-house training around the MEAM project* Ensure the service is central to multi-agency working and actively engage clients in the service* Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend meetings, networks, and fund-raising events* Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults* Undertake any other duties appropriate to your roleExperience and Knowledge:* Experience supporting people with multiple disadvantages to overcome barriers* Experience working collaboratively with partners to achieve positive outcomes* Strong communication skills, including the ability to professionally challenge when appropriate* Ability to risk assess and deliver safe, effective support to people with multiple disadvantages* Good IT skills and experience working with data systems* Commitment to system change and empowering individuals to succeed* Knowledge of equal opportunities and safeguarding practices* Knowledge of housing services and move-on support for clients* Understanding of substance misuse, mental health, and domestic abuse legislation* Full driver's license (no more than 6 penalty points) and access to a car for work purposesOther Information:* DBS: Valid DBS check required* Travel: Regular travel is required. Business mileage is payable from an agreed base. The role holder must have a full driving license, road fund license, and business use insurance.
